After reading an average of 300 mysteries a year, IÆll find one or two that stand out enough to make me want to write about them. But only once every couple of years do I find one that makes me want to stand up and cheer. Abby Cooper, Psychic Eye is just such a book! Abby Cooper is a PI (Psychic Intuitive). Her abilities are subtle and realistically presented, and, unlike most other fictional psychic private eyes, she believes that free will can give a person the power to change their future, and she limits her clients to one reading every six months. She and the other characters in the book are so well fleshed out they could very well be your best friend or your next-door neighbor. And by the time you finish the book, youÆll be wishing they were. AbbyÆs first adventure drops her into the path of a serial killer, and a mysterious but hunky cop who isnÆt so sure at first that Abby isnÆt somehow involved.
This is a book worth reading over and over again. IÆm on my
fourth reading and IÆm enjoying it just as much as the
first. Of course IÆm itching to get my hands on the next
book in the series. Thank goodness you can pre-order them
on Amazon.com!
