  • Jill Konrath's "Selling To Big Companies" could become the tool that all professional sales people turn to when they want to improve their skills. Konrath, who is a seasoned and practiced sales professional, says in the books' introduction, "It's a whole new world out there right now. New approaches are required for success in today's crazy marketplace. Doing more of the same old thing won't get you anywhere - - especially not into a large corporation." That hooked me...I had to read farther.

It's the humble opinion of this reviewer that Jill Konrath has figured out how to make an excellent career out of sales and readers will find all the secrets of her success between this book's covers...everything from how to fine tune your voice mail message (strategies I wish many would adapt before they call my number) to great email messages that get responses.

The section on "Break Through the Barriers" presents ideas for eveything from "Becoming Irresistible to Decision Makers" to "Turn Gatekeepers Into Gate Openers". Who doesn't need the answers to these dilemmas?

Konrath says, "Sometimes it can be overwhelming. So much to change, so little time. You may even be hitting yourself over the head for continuing with ineffective strategies for so long." Yes, Ms Konrath...some of us may have a "wow moment" when we get to this part. And, thank you for the good information.
