  • Holy Cow!!!!!!

This is the most phenomenal vegetarian cookbook I've ever had the pleasure of reading. It took me hours just to get beyond the stunning photographs and move on to reading the recipes.

The book lays out ingredients, equipment and techniques, and then 140 breath-taking recipes sure to satisfy even the most hardcore "meat and potatoes" lover. Covered in the recipes are appetizers & finger foods, soups, tarts & pies, pasta, stews & stir-fries, rice & grains, stuffed vegetables, salads, deserts (WOW!), breakfasts & brunches and alfresco eating.

Very recently I found out that I'm severely allergic to dairy. Milk and eggs. Living in Wisconsin, my diet has been based on this food-group for years. I cried for days when I found out I'd have to stop eating cheese, and then prayed for a cookbook that would bring me exciting, beautiful and delicious recipes to substitute for my old favorites.

With this incredible book, my prayers have been answered.

Thank you Paul Gayler. And thank you DK Publishing!
