Reincarnation is an interesting possibility that some people have a hard time accepting or even considering. When your own life is going just fine, why would you even think about what might have happened in a previous life? Sometimes circumstances force us to look further into our issues. Sometimes there are greater meanings to our thoughts than we could even imagine. Emily Clark has a good life. Adopted into a loving and supportive family, riding her own horse whenever she feels like it, and living just down the block from her best friend, Emily is a well rounded, happy girl. Then, her gym class for the last semester includes swimming in the new school pool. A confident swimmer, Emily is taken quite by surprise when a freak accident leaves her gasping for breath, nearly drowning. The following weeks find her awake in the night with terrible dreams of drowning and memories that don’t seem to be her own. With the help of her parents and a therapist, Emily makes a discovery that helps her overcome her newfound fear of the water, and opens up a whole realm of possibilities.
This well written story is fast paced, full of thought provoking moments, and just right for the teen reader who is searching for something just a little bit different. Adult readers will appreciate the depth of characters and interesting plot. Examine the possibilities.
