This is an excellent reference book for begining and advanced herbalists. The book is set-up to read and find information very quickly. It has drawings of each plant and a two full descriptive pages about each herb. The information in this book is very accurate. The author gives enough detail to help you locate, prepare, and preserve the herbs. It includes popular herbs like Echinecea and Golden Seal as well as old time favorites like Cleavers. It is a culmination of the most needed information on each herb without too much technical info. As a herbalist who owns just about every herb book, this simple and straight to the point work is a must have.
