"The Truth Machine" is one of my favorite books. This is an absolutely fascinating novel, that is A MAJOR page turner. ItÆs well researched and well written, and is just EXCELLENT! James Halperin has shown himself as an excellent rookie author this being his first book.

The story begins as a young boy named, Pete, who is a child genius, sees his younger brother killed by a recently released inmate. Pete had an idea, an idea to create a machine that would tell if you were telling the truth absolutely, even if youÆre mind thinks that it is true!

As the story progressÆ, while the Truth Machine was in development, Charles, another child genus, seeks to take the power away from Peteà.

"The Truth Machine" will keep you in its grasp, and will not let you go. For all of us sci-fi fans, it is an Absolute CLASSIC! Halperin has a VERY good future if his books keep on coming out as good as this one has.
