"The First Immortal" by James Halperin is a well organized, excellently researched, and just a fantastic novel. This is James HalperinĘs second novel, the first one, "The Truth Machine" was also outstanding. "The First Immortal" is better than "The Truth Machine." The First Immortal" starts out telling you about Benjamin Smith, and tells of his family through out the years. Ben is a World War II veteran, and a very accomplished physician, and he decides to use Cryonics in hope of being revived after he dies. The book is a greatly inventive story of how a world can change, and the human race. James Halperin gives a quite hopeful out look for our future, and I am excited to see his next novel. I warn you now, that you will not be able to put this book down once you pick it up! Be prepared to get SUCKED IN! Later,
