  • Compass of the Soul, by Lynn A. Robinson, is one of those books that "works". From Lesson One on, the end of each chapter includes an intuition exercise. Readers will find something that "fits" in their own life's path, along with a "tool guide" on how to put the lessons to work.

In our busy, "fast track" world, Robinson describes the plague of rushing, busyness, anxiety, and stress. "What's the big hurry?!!" She goes on to remind us to "Check in with your inner guidance when you feel anxious. This feeling of hurry is self-imposed, and it's possible to shift it so you can feel more relaxed and in the flow of life." She quotes a Zen poem "Sitting quietly, doing nothing / Spring comes and grass grows by itself"

Compass of the Soul reminds the reader to pay attention to emotions, images, dreams, hunches, gut feelings, and be open to this communication from your intuition.

Robinson begins each lesson with a pertinent quote. Lesson 35 - Cultivate a Positive Attitude starts with "We are what we think. All that we are arises with our thoughts. With our thoughts we make the world." Wise words from Buddha. In "Compass of the Soul", Lynn Robinson reminds us that "It's during times of overwhelming stress that you most need your inner guidance to steer your life back to peace and tranquillity. Your intutition is still there, ready and willing to provide direction, but you may have to use a different set of skills to access it." "Compass of the Soul" offers a guide to finding and using these skills.

"Compass of the Soul" is full of practical advice to help the reader create positive changes in his/her spiritual, personal, and financial life.

This reviewer suggests you act on the intuition that's telling you to begin this book now.
