DALLAS/FORT WORTH, TX – What happens when a brunette, olive-skinned Italian native New Yorker is, for the first time in her life, uprooted from her home, her church, her friends and extended family and transplanted into a neighborhood of blonde women in northern Virginia? Ellie Lofaro knows.

At 36, God answered Ellie’s prayer for her husband Frank to grow deeper in his relationship with the Lord. Frank’s heart sensed God calling him to work in full-time ministry. His decision to work with Chuck Colson’s international ministry, Prison Fellowship, meant the family would have to leave New York and everything they loved, and to start a new life near Washington D.C. It wasn’t exactly what Ellie had in mind when she began praying for Frank.
