  • Trilogy Poetic Literature and Prose has introduced its first fictional book entitled, A Trilogy of Poetry, Prose and Thoughts for the Mind, Body and Soul (Trilogy), which covers a spectrum of topics for all ages by a family of three authors, Joseph S. Spence, Sr., Sheila Parrish-Spence, and their youngest son, Jonathan Clarence Parrish Spence, age fourteen. This fictional collection written by the authors reflects on life universally in any society, culture, region, or continent.

Trilogy is an anthology of thoughts, feelings, memories, and travels of three poets, each from a different perspective. Josephps poems come with author comments and span from the patriotic with Lady Liberty How Art Thou, to the internet age with High Tech Voicemail, and to family as in My Dad. Sheilaps poems are introspective and reflective as she embraces the arts with This is Mellow, salutes children in Your Smile My Son, and pens emotions in I love You. Jonathan completes Trilogy with youthful poems and prose on issues such as If I Were A Paycheck, friendship as in Soccer Not Fowl, and education as in School. A spectrum of experiences permeate from Trilogy and suggest introspection, and hope. It is a compilation of penned words that all will enjoy and reflect upon.

Trilogy is a joint family project which was created to comfort, insight laughter, and provide introspection through the poetic words of these authors. Trilogy readers are of all ages, up to 100 plus. The authors have participated in open mics and poetry slams in various forums. They are available for speaking engagements, interviews, readings, and poetry recitals.
