Donn Gurney
Donn Gurney, a 1959 graduate of the University of Wisconsin with degrees in English and Political Science, is founder and president of Race Legends Incorporated, the world’s leading vintage motorsport celebrity agency; managing partner of Management Services Associates, an international consulting firm; and co-founder and vice president of Alternative Planning Associates, a firm providing defendant support services for those involved in the Wisconsin criminal justice system. Mr. Gurney, beyond being an avid reader, has performed editing services for many of his racing clients as they developed books about their careers and experiences, including America’s first Formula One World Champion, Phil Hill, and Sir Stirling Moss, perhaps the most successful driver of the 20th Century. He has appeared on a number of television specials related to the racing profession.

Mr. Gurney’s career has included stints in manufacturing, banking, management consulting, web site development and other business endeavors. He is the former president of the Madison, Wisconsin YMCA and was an executive in the Wisconsin Division of Corrections under three governors. He subscribes to a number of magazines on a weekly basis and, in the midst of his working endeavors, still reads four to six books a week on a variety of subjects, both fiction and non-fiction. In addition, he maintains the content in several web sites related to his businesses.
